Your mission:

The Marketing Specialist is accountable for developing and implementing the regional marketing strategy, managing all activities in conjunction with Sales and other stakeholders.

This is a regional role, driving marketing across the Caucasus and Central Asia, experience in both B2B and B2C marketing is essential.

What you will do:

Channel Marketing:

  • Define, plan and implement the local marketing plan focusing on channel marketing activities that will deliver a high standard in terms of brand and sales performance.
  • Understand how the various revenue reduction mechanisms can be used to leverage sales. Determine the budget available and plan and manage it in conjunction with local Sales Managers.
  • Ensure that local channel partner programmes are proactively supported
  • Work with the Digital Marketing specialist to deliver effective communication to the channel using electronic direct mails (EDMs) and the channel portal.
  • Plan and manage the local Channel Marketing Budget in conjunction with local Sales Managers and ensure that channel insights are used to develop activities that deliver increasing ROI.

PR & Communications:

  • Lead local PR and social media delivery to execute central strategy and achieve agreed KPIs.
  • Drive high‑impact PR and social campaigns with internal stakeholders and agency partners as required to strengthen Epson’s brand reputation.
  • Oversee the development and amplification of approved local case studies.
  • Ensure local adaptation of central assets meets brand, budget, and timing standards.
  • Check translations of centrally produced marketing communications materials including promotions, advertising, brochures, POS and PR.

Events:

  • Develop and implement an events plan (channel and end user) which may include roadshows, exhibitions, corporate hospitality, channel and internal staff events.

Web:

  • Ensure that the local website, partner portal, and intranet are maintained accurately and on time.
  • Ensure an excellent online presence with key e-tailers.
  • Provide feedback to the central online team for electronic direct mail (EDM), online tools, websites and other online content.

Epson Representative Programme:

  • Support to ERP program: manage the Marketing Associate to ensure the day-to-day management on oversight of the ERP program.
  • This includes, but is not limited to the recruitment and induction for new Representatives and Promoters, operational work with the team (weekly meetings, reports, weekly plans), organize regular Epson products knowledge check by testing ERP team, take part in updating strategic plans and bonus program for ERP team, visit stores and evaluate field work of ERP team.

 

What we ask for:

  • Strong Marketing experience, developing regional plans covering all areas of marketing.
  • Previous experience working in a matrix organisation, ideally within a comparable industry.
  • Educated to degree or equivalent level with a marketing specialism.
  • Strong commercial mindset.
  • Experience of channel marketing and driving its impact on sales.
  • Knowledge and marketing experience of different channels – B2B, B2C, e-tailer
  • A pro-active individual who can meet challenging deadlines in a fast paced, changing business environment.
  • Strong problem solving, communication and influencing skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, Kazakh and Russian.

Specific local knowledge, skills and expertise: B2B and B2C Marketing experience in Caucasus and Central Asia, experience in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia would be preferred. This position may involve travel
